Shoney’s proves its commitment to area schools and our community’s children by partnering with dozens of schools in East Tennessee through the Adopt-A-School program. Shoney’s works with area schools to help provide needed supplies and materials to students and teachers. Donated items such as coupons, bookmarks, pencils, erasers, crayons, paper, and books are used regularly within the classrooms or as incentives to reward students for such things as good attendance, behavior, and honor roll status.

The Shoney’s mascot, Shoney Bear, also visits its local Adopt-A-School partners to read to students, present awards at assemblies, walk in school parades, or just have fun! Shoney’s has a strong focus on children and our local community. The Adopt-A-School program allows us to give back to the community by providing needed supplies and helping to educate future community leaders.
