In 1962, Shoney’s of Knoxville, Inc. opened its first franchise restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee. Since then, Shoney’s has continually served the greater Knoxville community with good, fresh food in a family-oriented setting, staffed with friendly employees.

At Shoney’s, we want to thank you for your ongoing patronage! Together with our employees and customers, we have grown to 21 restaurant locations in ten East Tennessee counties, serving quality food that’s value priced.

Due to the hard work and loyalty of our employees, Shoney’s of Knoxville, Inc. was established in 1995 as an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), resulting with employees having ownership in the company.

We are dedicated to our surrounding communities by supporting many community, social, educational, and church-oriented groups. We are constantly contributing to these programs throughout the year. Also, in partnership with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, we support the Eating & Living Healthy program, educating our young people about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Because we have so many loyal customers and nearly 1200 dedicated employees, we want to thank you for your kind patronage.
